Like Maya and the rest of m group, I am very eager to find out what K. has done to be arrested, like just tell us already! In addition,
Maya points out K.’s self-importance. His snarky comments and superior attitude
will not help him in this sticky situation. He needs to take what is happening
more seriously and follow the official's rules because he cannot control his
fate, only make it worse, if anything.
Instead of dissecting the officials surrounding him, he should learn to
obey them. I infer that K. leads a high title job at the bank and is not used
to being told what to do or people getting in his way. He also seems insecure around the officials. When in the meeting with the supervisor, he argues and tries to prove all the connections he has. The
perception of K. is not the best at this point, but as the book progresses I
feel that K. will become a better person, if faced with adversity.
